Echuca Primary School is located on the VIC, NSW border. We are some 226 km north of Melbourne. Echuca is situated on the banks of the Murray River and plays host to music festivals, Southern 80, steam rally just to name a few. The school has 530 students enrolled ranging from Prep to Grade 6.
We’re sure that through our website you will see that we are a vibrant primary school where learning is valued and the students have a variety of opportunities to follow their interests.
At the heart of our school ethos is a desire on everyone’s behalf to work together as a team. There are strong relationships between staff and students and staff and parents. Parent support for the school is second to none and is something that our staff and students really appreciate. Our “community feel” makes our school strong and effective.
The school’s values – respectful, responsible and resilient, very much reflect the school’s culture and the community that the school serves.
Our core purpose is to develop well-rounded students who have every opportunity to gain all the skills and attributes needed to contribute significantly to our future society. As well as the provision of a strong academic program complemented by rich programs promoting creativity, the arts, physical activity, healthy living and Auslan, the school is committed to building community and social capital.
The wider community utilises our facilities including an indoor gym and school grounds. We provide an afterschool care program through School’s Out!
